Texarkana Aluminum

Key Fire Protection, Inc. served as the fire sprinkler contractor for the Texarkana Aluminum facility in Texarkana, Texas, delivering comprehensive fire protection solutions for this large-scale industrial operation. Our scope of work included the installation of new fire protection systems within both the hot mill and cold mill expansions, each presenting unique challenges due to the demanding conditions and specialized processes involved in aluminum production.

In addition to the system installations, the project included the addition of dedicated fire protection water storage tank and a diesel fire pump system, ensuring reliable water supply and performance under all conditions. These critical components were designed to support the facility’s high-hazard environment and maintain consistent fire protection capabilities.

The design phase of this project required a high level of detail and precision. Through advanced BIM (Building Information Modeling) coordination, our team was able to seamlessly integrate the fire protection systems within a complex network of structural and mechanical elements. This coordination played a key role in delivering an efficient and conflict-free installation process.
