The Big Picture

Project Overview

Key Fire Protection, Inc. proudly served as the fire sprinkler contractor for the Georgia-Pacific Dixie Plant located in Jackson, Tennessee—an expansive 893,000 square-foot manufacturing facility. This large-scale project required extensive coordination, precision, and expertise to meet the demands of a high-capacity industrial environment.

Our team of 18 skilled professionals successfully installed over 100,000 feet of fire sprinkler piping throughout the facility, ensuring comprehensive fire protection coverage. The scope of work included the design and installation of 24 wet-pipe water-based fire sprinkler systems and one dry-pipe system, strategically implemented to accommodate varying environmental conditions within the plant.

In addition to the sprinkler systems, the project incorporated an electric fire pump to support system performance and reliability, as well as a Vortex water mist system to provide specialized fire suppression in critical areas.

This project highlights Key Fire Protection, Inc.’s ability to execute complex, large-scale fire protection systems while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
